TRAINER (Qty 10) – Baltimore City – $28.56/hour
Assignment Period 1/3/2022 – 6/30/2022
  • Assist with developing and updating training curriculum.
  • For all training, follow training curriculum approved by State Board of Elections (SBE).
  • Train individuals.
  • Conduct election judge and other staff training sessions based on SBE requirements and standards.
  • When required, submit incident documentation using approved format.

Selected individuals are required to complete the entire assignment.  Hours vary from 20-40 plus overtime due to workload and schedule.

Travel throughout State of Maryland could be required.

  • Have a minimum of two (2) years of work experience relating to computer networking, setting up and maintaining computers and peripheral devices, troubleshooting computer hardware and software issues, and knowledge of Microsoft Office software (including Word and Excel).
  • Be able to lift at least fifty-five (55) pounds.
  • Be able to work evening and weekend hours.
  • Provide technical assistance to assigned LBE.
  • Provide required incident documentation.

Selected individuals are required to complete the entire assignment.  Full-time hours with some nights, weekend and overtime is required.

LBE Support Technician (Qty 3) – Caroline, Wicomico and Worcester County- $23.92/hour
Assignment Period 4/25/2022 – 7/01/2022
  • Graduated from an accredited high school or possess a high school equivalency certificate.
  • Have a minimum of two (2) years of work experience relating to computer networking, setting up and maintaining computers and peripheral devices, troubleshooting computer hardware and software issues, and knowledge of Microsoft Office software (including Word and Excel).
  • Be able to lift at least fifty-five (55) pounds.
  • Be able to work evening and weekend hours.
  • Provide technical assistance to assigned LBE.
  • Provide required incident documentation.
  • Assist L&A Testers.
  • Assist Field Support Technicians for Early Voting and Election Day.
  • Assist with election preparation (e.g., packing precinct bags) and administrative support as required by LBEs.
  • When requested by LBEs, provide guidance to Early Voting and Election Day Technicians.

Selected individuals are required to complete the entire assignment.  Full-time hours with some nights, weekend and overtime is required.

  • Have a minimum of two (2) years of work experience relating to computer networking, setting up and maintaining computers and peripheral devices, troubleshooting computer hardware and software issues, and knowledge of Microsoft Office software (including Word and Excel).
  • Be able to lift at least fifty-five (55) pounds.
  • Be able to work evening and weekend hours.
  • Provide technical assistance to assigned LBE.
  • Provide required incident documentation.
  • Perform L&A testing on ballot scanners, ballot marking devices, and electronic pollbooks.

  • Graduated from an accredited high school or possess a high school equivalency certificate.
  • Have a minimum of two (2) years of work experience relating to computer networking, setting up and maintaining computers and peripheral devices, troubleshooting computer hardware and software issues, and knowledge of Microsoft Office software (including Word and Excel).
  • Be able to lift at least fifty-five (55) pounds.
  • Be able to work evening and weekend hours.
  • Assist answering questions from voters regarding general election, including procedures, locations, and other voting information.
  • Be friendly and positive and portray helpful attitude when interacting with voters.
  • Be adept at handling voter inquiries concerning voting system and general election information in what could be fast-paced team oriented environment.
  • Provide assistance to and complete tasks assigned by LBE management or Chief Judge(s).
  • Monitor polling place area to ensure secure environment and report any issues to Chief Judges and, when necessary.

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR – $12.50/hour

ESS is hiring an Office Administrator to work in our Eldersburg location.

Person will be responsible for fingerprinting customers (training will be provided), coordinating offsite job schedules, coordinating training room schedule, assisting customers with various applications, managing office to include cleanliness and supply orders, supporting Management with various tasks as assigned and other duties as assigned.

Friendly attitude, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a willingness to go above and beyond is a must.
