Spartan Firearms Training Group: Wear and Carry Class/HQL

Course Overview: Our wear and carry course is a two-day course. The first day is classroom instruction focusing on the following topics: Module 1–Maryland and Federal Firearms Laws; Module 2–Moral and Ethical Obligations of Carrying Concealed; Module 3–Firearms Operation and Safety; Module 4–Firearm and Ammunition Nomenclature; Module 5–Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting; Module 6–Defensive Pistol Principles; Module 7– Informed Situational Awareness; Module 8–Tips for Carrying Concealed.

Day two is a live-fire range day where customers learn and practice critical firearms handling and marksmanship skills such as sight alignment, grip, trigger press, emergency and tactical reloading, and shooting while moving. Customers are required to bring 200 rounds of ammunition to the range-day, along with eye and ear protection. At the end of the range day there is a Live Fire Qualification course of fire. Customers must pass that course of fire with a score of 70% or higher.
